I recently tried Lean Cuisine’s Spinach Artichoke Dip with Pita Bread Casual Cuisine selection. It sounded so good when I saw it at the store, so I scooped it up to try.
The box includes two servings. Each serving has 200 calories, 6 grams of fat, 3 grams of saturated fat, 15 mg of cholesterol, 460 mg of sodium, 29 carbs, 4 g of sugar and 7 g of protein.
The box describes it as “artichoke hearts and spinach in a creamy Parmesan cheese sauce, with pita bread.” It’s very simple to make, you heat the little bowl of sauce in the microwave, and then the pita.
I sliced the pita in half and opted to stuff it with the sauce, as opposed to dipping.
The pita tasted soft and fresh, the dip was scrumptious, no diet taste about it at all! It was a very good diet style “comfort food”. Great for a snack when you are looking for something in the style of comfort food, or even for a cozy evening. This is definitely something I will purchase again. It was easy to make, had minimal cook time and clean up, and tasted wonderful!
